Internships

We're currently seeking students or other interested parties to fill internship positions.
  • Correspond with leading artists and art world figures around the world
  • Gain writing credits
  • Gain experience in website administration and maintenance
  • Gain practical programming and design skills
  • Gain publicity and marketing skills
  • Gain exposure to planning and design protocols
We need 2 onsite interns in the Atlanta area who are able to commit to 8 hours per week and 2 to 3 interns to work online from anywhere in the world.

Code Z is a young company, and interns are integral to the daily operations. Interns have plenty of opportunities for hands-on work and opportunities to influence the direction of the organization.

Want to pitch in? We're actively accepting volunteer help from folks interested in helping in the following areas:
  • publicity
  • community outreach and development

  • programming and web development
Volunteers may be located anywhere and may contribute on a one-time or ongoing basis.

Artists

We're often asked how artists can "submit work" or get profiled on Code Z. Well, we usually just hear about stuff through the grapevine. But that doesn't mean artists can't set up their own grapevines.

Let us know when you have done something or when something is about to happen. We find specific events like this a lot more compelling than simply telling us you are a cool person or a good artist. For example, let us know when:
  • You win a major prize
  • You are preparing for an exhibition or show
  • You have signed a contract
  • You are beginning significant research
  • You have introduced a new product or line of work
  • You are publishing a book or other material
  • You are screening a film
  • You are launching a website
  • You have completed a major public project
  • You have been hired to a new teaching or job position
  • You have opened a restaurant or cafe
We always enjoy hearing from artists who push boundaries and push buttons. Just remember: if you don't tell us, we don't know.
